Lisa Sheeran has over 20 years experience in journalism and public relations. She specializes in business press editorial strategy and liaison, as well as positioning and media training for startups and established companies. Her background includes writing a column on entrepreuners and investing for Inc. Magazine, writing a well-known consumer financial newsletter called "Donoghue's Moneyletter", providing in-house public relations for IntelliCorp and Oracle Corporation and holding high-level positions with top-tier public relations firms, including Blanc & Otus, Hi-Tech Communications, Upstart Communications and Evans Partners.

For the past 10 years Lisa has provided business and financial press consulting and media training to public companies, start-ups and venture capital firms. Clients have included MySQL AB, Sun Microsystems, Sybase, Verity, Vitria, Diba, Active Software, ELetter, Intacct, CoreSense, Sysis Interactive Solutions Recipio, AvantGo, Equal Access, SiRF Technology, Avram Miller Company, Mohr Davidow Ventures, Trident Capital, Artemis Ventures and Apax Partners. Lisa earned a BA with Honors from Middlebury College in Vermont and an MA in Clinical Psychology from JFK University in Orinda, CA. When not pitching stories to the business press, Lisa breeds and shows Champion Pug dogs.
